Why choose Rusty's for your preventative maintenance? At Rusty's Fleet Service we have mirrored the PM procedures of major carriers and how they maintain their equipment. A used truck listing might feature "Walmart maintained" as a selling point. Having worked with said carrier, we can bring the same level of attention and care to your fleet, and all without the logistics of shuttling units to and from a shop. 

Our HD PM Service includes: 

  • Engine lube and filter replacement

  • Fuel Filter Replacement

  • Full chassis grease

  • Engine air filter replacement (at each PM or customer requested intervals)

  • Cabin air filters  (at each PM or customer requested intervals)

  • In cab and exterior inspection of glass, dash and instrument controls, mirrors, exterior lighting etc. 

  • Under hood inspection checking belts, hoses, wiring harness and air line securement, checking for fluid or exhaust leaks etc.

  • Cooling system inspection, pressure test on engine coolant system to check for leaks and testing for proper concentration and acidity levels 

  • Full under truck inspection checking items such as brakes, suspension, steering, transmission and differential oil levels, wiring harness and air line securement, etc. 

  • New glad hand seals

  • Lubrication of fifth wheel jaws, latching mechanisms and linkage, greasing of fifth wheel plate, lubrication of door hinges

  • Tire inspection and adjustment of tire pressures

  • Battery testing and cleaning of terminals and cables, application of battery terminal protective spray to prevent corrosion 

  • Computer hookup and full diagnostic scan for active fault codes and can even find inactive or recently active faults that may be of concern

The "Other" Guys PM:

  • Engine lube and filter replacement

  • Fuel filter replacement

  • Air filter check 

  • Grease chassis and fifth wheel plate

  • Exterior lighting check

  • Tire check

  • Brake check
